https://revuebartimee.net est un site web d’accès libre, entièrement référencé et évalué par des enseignants du supérieur. It is published in the form of a biannual journal with 2 issues per year. We also welcome inter or national conferences to publish research work. We cover all disciplines. We are a platform for academics, emerging researchers, authors, engineers, technocrats, genius researchers, and students. We publish original and high-quality research articles.

Orientations of BARTIMEE.NET

BARTIMEE.NET is the scientific journal of Bartimée Sarl in accordance with the missions of Bartimée Sarl in research and work concerning Sciences, Technologies, and Evangelisation. The BARTIMEE.NET journal (in electronic and paper versions) is published twice a year by specialists in these matters, in thematic issues, free issues, and special issues, with the possibility of « varia » in each publication.

The specificity of BARTIMEE.NET is that each issue must contain at least one practical computer publication or in any other scientific or technological field, with the aim of making science and technology practical.

The BARTIMEE.NET journal is transdisciplinary and multidisciplinary. The BARTIMEE.NET journal receives original articles on issues related to Science, Technology, and Evangelisation. It also receives reports on theses dealing with issues related to its editorial line throughout the year.

The BARTIMEE.NET journal evaluates submitted articles and works according to the criteria of the African and Malagasy Council for Higher Education (CAMES).

Organs of the journal

The BARTIMEE.NET journal is composed of 4 bodies.

The Scientific Committee

The Scientific Committee is the scientific guarantor of the BARTIMEE.NET journal and Bartimée Sarl publications. In this capacity, he contributes to the development of guidelines. He has the mandate to evaluate the acceptability of research results within his competence and to ensure their feasibility from a scientific and technological standpoint as well as from an evangelisation perspective.

Its members are consulted on the issues to be addressed in each of the BARTIMEE.NET journal’s dossiers. They ensure, in collaboration with the Editorial Board, the validity of the articles submitted to the BARTIMEE.NET journal. The BARTIMEE.NET journal aims to be multidisciplinary, so the selection criteria for members are based on their reputation and their field of expertise.

The Scientific Committee is composed of academics and experts who are interested in issues related to Science, Technology, and Evangelisation.

The Reading Committee

This committee brings together readers who will review the texts and works submitted to the BARTIMEE.NET journal and Bartimée Sarl publications in order to share their opinions on the content and form. It is composed of academics and experts who are interested in issues related to Science, Technology, and Evangelisation.

The Editorial Committee

The Editorial Committee is the body that develops the editorial line of the BARTIMEE.NET journal and Bartimée Sarl publications, taking into account the opinion of the Scientific Committee on the evolution of research issues. It meets at regular intervals to discuss the latest opinions on the topics covered in BARTIMEE.NET.

All exchanges between the Editorial Board of the BARTIMEE.NET journal and the author will be conducted electronically. It is therefore important that authors provide an active email address that they check very regularly to facilitate communication.

The Editorial Committee is composed of academics and experts who are interested in issues related to Science, Technology, and Evangelisation.

The Secretariat

The Secretariat’s role is to assist and support the Editorial Committee. It assists in the draughting of the TOR, the submission of articles for review, correspondence with authors, and the finalisation of articles. He is also responsible for popularising the published issues.

General conditions for submitting texts to BARTIMEE.NET

BARTIMEE.NET receives original texts, scientifically and rigorously developed and completed, which may have one or more authors. The texts received by BARTIMEE.NET must be the result of rigorous scientific analyses, respectful of the ethics of scientific research, and not promoting violence.

The status of author is conferred upon a person who has effectively contributed creatively to the writing and organisation of the text submitted to BARTIMEE.NET.

Each author must give their explicit consent for the publication of the submitted manuscript. By this agreement materialised by their signature affixed on the « Declaration of Acknowledgement, Agreement, and Commitment, » each author acknowledges the content of the submitted manuscript, attests that it has not already been published nor submitted for publication to another journal, and commits to complying with the publication conditions of BARTIMEE.NET.

In the publication process, a co-author may be added or removed. In this case, the « Declaration of Acknowledgement, Agreement, and Commitment » must be revised and resubmitted by the corresponding author. The co-authors express their agreement by signing the new declaration. Their agreement must also be confirmed in writing by responding to an email that the corresponding author sends to the editorial team of BARTIMEE.NET, in which they are copied. The co-authors to be added or removed must also express their consent in writing by replying to said email. If one of the co-authors does not respond, the publication process of the text is unilaterally stopped by BARTIMEE.NET.

Each author is encouraged to provide their ORCID identifier and, in the case of multi-authored texts, each author’s contribution (see CREDiT taxonomy) must be specified in the « Authors’ Contributions » section, placed just after the bibliographic references.
The authors provide a written statement on the funding of their research and on the existence of any potential conflict of interest that could compromise their results, the interpretation of these results, or the evaluation process of their text. In addition to the form titled « Declaration of Potential Conflicts of Interest » completed, signed, and submitted to the editorial team of BARTIMEE.NET, the declaration of conflicts of interest must be added to the manuscript after the section titled « Authors’ Contribution. »

To ensure the quality of the texts published by BARTIMEE.NET, they are subjected to anti-plagiarism and AI detection tests, a spelling and grammar checker, and a thorough evaluation by peer reviewers. All of this involves human and financial resources and editorial work time.

Les manuscrits sont soumis en ligne sur le site web de BARTIMEE.NET ou par e-mail à l’adresse suivante : support@bartimee.net. Upon receipt of their proposal, the authors will receive an email from BARTIMEE.NET acknowledging receipt of their manuscript.

Request for paper

Nous vous invitons à nous soumettre vos travaux en ligne via notre système de soumission ou par e-mail à support@bartmee.net. Make sure that the submitted manuscript has not been previously submitted or published elsewhere.

It is strongly recommended to submit original and plagiarism-free manuscripts only for possible consideration, otherwise they will be rejected without any response. All manuscripts will first be analysed (correction anti-plagiarism tests), then submitted to a double-blind peer review, and the final decision will be based on the high level, originality, and additional contribution to existing knowledge.

Once your article is submitted, you can no longer present this article elsewhere, unless we reject your article. The accepted submission cannot be presented in any other journal / conference / magazine or any other media without our permission.

The notification of rejection of your article will be communicated to you within 30 days following its submission. Your manuscripts must be in French or English.

You can submit research papers, thesis chapters, case studies, comparative studies, research proposals, informative articles, review articles, survey documents, etc.

People who wish to submit a text to BARTIMEE.NET are invited to read the following points:

– Les manuscrits doivent être adressés à l’attention du comité de rédaction par courrier électronique à l’adresse : support@bartimee.net

– Manuscripts must be sent in formats readable by Word processing, docx format. Please do not send documents in PDF format.

– Upon receipt of their proposal, the authors will receive an email from BARTIMEE.NET acknowledging receipt of their manuscript.

– BARTIMEE.NET does its best to evaluate the texts (and publish them) within a reasonable timeframe. As a general rule, the entire process from pre-submission to online publication takes 45 business days.

– The texts received by BARTIMEE.NET are evaluated by one or more members of the Scientific Committee. The reviewers do not know the names of the authors and vice versa.

Timeline for processing an article: 45 business days

1st step: Pre-submission of the article by the author and analyses (correction anti-plagiarism tests) and feedback from the Secretariat to the author within 03 working days.

2nd step: If necessary, the author makes corrections based on the observations from the analyses, and a 2nd analysis is done to ensure that the author has taken the recommendations into account, then the text is submitted for double-blind peer review: 05 business days.

3rd step: The author corrects their article and resubmits it within 10 business days.

4th step: After the return of the text corrected by the author, the final decision will be based on the high level: 05 business days.

5th step: Layout of the selected articles for the issue: 15 working days.

6th step: Uploading the articles and distributing the publications to the authors: 07 business days.

Steps for processing peer reviews of articles

The evaluation of the article is initiated by the BARTIMEE.NET Reading Committee following the double-blind evaluation mode: the authors do not know the reviewers and the reviewers do not know the authors. The reviewers provide independent reports, anonymously, on the anonymised document itself. They are responsible for suggesting ways to improve the submitted article and, above all, for allowing the Editorial Board to make a final decision on whether to accept or reject the article.

Before sending the article for peer review, it can be rejected by the Editorial Board. In the event that the article is accepted for peer review, the evaluation process follows several steps:

1st step: selection of reviewers by the Reading Committee

2nd step: pooling the reviewers’ comments. Four scenarios can occur. Each scenario has its own steps.

A review by another reader or a member of the Editorial Board will be necessary to proceed with the acceptance of the article.

  • 1st scenario: the article is accepted without modifications, in which case it is returned to the Secretariat for layout and publication A notification will be sent to the author.
  • 2nd scenario: the article is accepted with minor modifications. In this case, it is returned to the author for corrections. In this case, a review of the corrections could be done by a member of the Reading Committee who will verify that the corrections have been taken into account. After this step, the corrected text is returned to the Secretariat for layout and publication. A notification will be sent to the author at each stage of this scenario.
  • 3rd scenario: the article is accepted with major modifications. In this case, it is returned to the author for corrections. A re-correction could be done by another reader or by a member of the Reading Committee who will verify that the corrections have been taken into account. The opinion from this new review will provide suggestions for improving the submitted article and, above all, will allow the Reading Committee to make a final decision on whether to accept or reject the article. After this step, the corrected text is returned to the Secretariat for layout and publication. A notification will be sent to the author at each stage of this scenario.
  • 4th scenario: the article is rejected by both reviewers. Their decisions will allow the Editorial Committee to make a final decision on whether to accept a new submission or reject the article. The author will be notified at each stage of this scenario.

Footnotes

  • MARCUSE Herbert, year, One-Dimensional Man, city, publisher, p. • Ibidem: same author, same work, same page
  • Idem: when the author’s name has been previously mentioned on the same page of the article, and on a different page from the cited work (by the same author)

Same, title of another work by the same author with all its references (city, publisher, year, p)

On the same page: Op. cit., MARCUSE Herbert, Op. cit., (last work of Marcuse cited, example: The Aesthetic Dimension)

3.4. The cited passages are presented in Roman and between quotation marks. When the citing sentence and the quotation exceed three lines, you must go to the next line to present the quotation (single-spaced) in Roman and indented (1.25 inches from the left), reducing the font size by one point.

3.5. Citation references are integrated into the citing text, as appropriate, in the following manner: – (Author’s First Name or Initials, Author’s Last Name, year of publication, cited pages); – Author’s First Name or Initials, Author’s Last Name (year of publication, cited pages).

Examples:

– Indeed, the goal pursued by Mr. Ascher (1998, p. 223) is « to broaden the history of mathematics so that it acquires a multicultural and global perspective (…), to expand the field of mathematics: whereas it has essentially dealt with [dealt with] the Western professional group called mathematics (…) ».

– To further elaborate on what this capacity of civil society is, which in its effective deployment, attests that it can carry development and history, S. B. Diagne (1991, p. 2) writes: Let’s not be mistaken: in any case, the populations have always known how to counter the philosophy of supervision and its voluntarism with their own behavioural strategies. Those [Those], for example, are visible in the dynamism, or at least, in the creativity demonstrated by what is referred to as the informal sector and which will need to be given the positive designation of popular economy.

– The Ivorian philosopher is right, to some extent, to read, in this destabilising shock, the process of underdevelopment. As he says: The process of underdevelopment resulting from this shock is concretely experienced by the concerned populations as a global crisis: socio-economic crisis (brutal exploitation, permanent unemployment, accelerated and painful exodus), but also socio-cultural and civilisational crisis reflecting a socio-historical unpreparedness and an unsuitability of cultures and human behaviours to the forms of life imposed by foreign technologies. (S. Diakité, 1985, p. 105).

– Quotations in the body of the text that exceed three lines must be indicated by an indentation following the formatting guidelines for indented quotations.

– Inner quotation marks, that is, those that appear within a quote, should be indicated as follows: « …“xxx”… ». Ex.: « Nkrumah’s question is by what means, « starting from the current state of African consciousness… progress will be drawn from the conflict that currently agitates this consciousness. » Consciencism inaugurates the debate on the fundamental concepts of this ideology that would be both integrative and revolutionary.

3.6. Historical sources, references to oral information, and explanatory notes are numbered in a continuous series and presented at the bottom of the page.

3.7. The various elements of a bibliographic reference are presented as follows: LAST NAME and First Name(s) of the author, Year of publication, Title area, Place of publication, Publisher area, pages (p.) occupied by the article in the journal or collective work. In the title area, the title of an article is presented in Roman and between quotation marks, while the title of a book, a thesis or dissertation, a report, a journal, or a newspaper is presented in italics. In the Publisher area, the Publishing House (for a book), the Name and the number/volume of the journal (for an article) are indicated. In the case where a work is a translation and/or a reissue, the translator’s name and/or the edition (e.g., 2nd ed.) must be specified after the title.

3.8. Only the references of the cited documents are presented in the bibliographical references.

  • The bibliographic references are presented in alphabetical order by the authors’ last names.
  • Class the works of the same author by the title of the works.
  • Include the author’s name for each cited work.

3.9. Bibliographic references with CAMES standards CAMES
